8 things about me
1. I've been swimming since I was at least... god, was it eight months old? According to my parents, anyway. And I remember I was good enough for the swim team at like... age 11 or 12, I think. Didn't join, though; too much time and effort.
2. I collect... fuzzy dice. 8U No, seriously!
3. I never finish anything. Really. I never finish anything.
4. I can't think on the spot. Like, at all. I fumble and mess up if I'm on the phone and forced to think on the spot, or if I panic in any situation. Me and thinking in a split second are not compatible.
5. I love creative mediums. Not just drawing, but writing, roleplaying (on LJ and IM), sewing and cosplay, and... well, just about anything, really. I used to paint ceramic pottery sometimes, and I code stuff like websites and layouts here and there as well. About the only "creative" thing I notably don't do is cooking... I hate cooking. D|
6. I've got fairly broad taste in... just about anything, if it doesn't suck, but comedy just doesn't please me anymore. D:
7. I've had very few formal art lessons. I got into drawing around seventh grade, in which I just kind of picked up my pencil and started doodling, and it went from there as I kept going and going. I did take lessons at a local art museum (specifically tailored to anime/manga!) for a couple semesters, but they kept getting more and more expensive, so I had to quit. ><
8. I am, like my mother, an ENORMOUS pack rat -- I keep everything, but I'm also very unorganized and things get messy and cluttered in my room very quickly. My closet is a disaster, and so are my desk and bureau and shelves. I also can't find anything, ever, even if it's right under my face when I'm looking. I'm fantastically airheaded like that.
